Hi Fellow Deal Hunters! My name is Derek and I am the team leader at Dinosaur Deals. Too big to deal with the revolving doors of department stores, I came across Dinosaur Deals a few years back after scouring the web for DINOSAUR sized deals. I absolutely love working here - the team is DINO-rrific and the variety and bargains are better than any other place on this planet! I'm an outgoing, bright, well groomed sort of guy. I'm into surfing... the net or taking my scooter up to the dinosaur fields in far North West Queensland. It's fun putting my feet in their prints. Grooming is important to me and I like to look sharp. I know having a stylish flick fringe is unusual for a dinosaur, but it's my point of difference so whatever you do... don't touch the hair. My fave food is pizza - vegetarian of course. I also like those little natural dinosaur jellies... yum. I don't drink fizzy drinks tho - bad for my teeth and just take a look at that smile... no way I'm gonna jeopardise those pearly whites! Ev - Operations Manager

Hi All! As the Operations Manager with the Dinosaur Deals team, my role extends into just about every facet of the business. From managing the back end of the website to ensuring that every transaction is carried out with absolute precision, no two days are ever the same. I am here to ensure that the crew can operate as efficiently as possible while providing our customers with quality products at great prices and exceptional service. My role allows me to pursue the latest and greatest in warehousing, systems, and logistics opportunities, with the aim of constantly improving your experience with us.

When I'm not stirring things up in the office I enjoy kicking back with mates, having a surf or playing the guitar. I have been known to get carried away when it comes to karaoke but I've had to promise Derek I'll leave that for the weekends. Happy Shopping!

Greetings Dinosaur Deals Shoppers! Not too long ago, Derek the Dinosaur was born and the Dinosaur Deals dream started to come to life. Surrounded by an incredible team and people who are passionate about Dinosaur Deals, I sunk my head into scouring the planet for major DEALS for our loyal customers. My 'job' is to meet and greet suppliers and twist their arms for the hottest priced items in town. From the latest in technology to that "must have" fashion accessory, I continue to stock our warehouse so that our customers have the greatest variety available to them, at the best value in town. I promise to keep the deals coming!

My favourite things in life are chocolate, people and a challenge. My best days are Sundays and I find it difficult to beat sitting on the couch with my beautiful child (who loves Derek!) and sinking my teeth into a chocolate or two.

Hi Shoppers! I have been with Dinosaur Deals since almost the start. I look after all the invoicing and accounts at Dinosaur Deals. Making sure all daily orders are processed, allocated and sent out in a speedy and efficient manner, my days at Dinosaur Deals HQ are busy! I take great care in ensuring that every order is dealt with efficiently as I know how important our precious customers are. When I am not processing orders I am spending time with my new Grand Children, which is why I am now fondly known as Super Granny!

Annika - Website Designer

Hi there! I am the resident designer at Dinosaur Deals. All those banners you see on our fabulous website and our newsletters, that's what I do! Also if you come across any of our advertising on the web, that's me also... It's such a great place to work because everyday I get to do something different. Plus, I get to work with Derek, who is the coolest dinosaur around; the other guys here aren't bad either!

In my spare time I love to shop, mainly on Dinosaur Deals, and cook. My friends call me 'Nigella', after Nigella Lawson, as I am always cooking up something yummy, usually involving chocolate!

Hello! After spending the first two decades of my working life in the software industry with MYOB, Dinosaur Deals presented me with an incredible opportunity. I jumped at the chance to work with an exciting team of enthusiastic, young (relative to me, that is) entrepreneurs who are hell-bent on providing outstanding quality and value to their loyal customers. This unwavering focus on customer service dovetails perfectly with my outlook on business life and I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience. When not immersed in keeping the business on track you can find me playing games with my kids or on the golf course working on correcting my slice. Pet hate: procrastination. Tony - Buying Team

Someone has to spend their time making sure everyone else is doing their job! And that's exactly where I come in. My responsibility is to make sure that everyone constantly has a cup of coffee in front of them, so we are well wired for those long nights that guarantee Derek and Dinosaur Deals have the coolest products (including the world's BIGGEST brands) at the sharpest prices. When, I am not making coffee for the entire team (Derek drinks decaf, two sugars and no milk), I oversee the daily movements of our sensational team and ensure that they are doing what is necessary so that you get the best deal at the end of the day.

I spend my evenings and weekends with my beautiful wife and daughter exploring the coffee shops of Sydney, and dreaming about the perfect DEAL!
